Determine the plan and organize learning. On March 2th, our school set up a leading group of visiting students led by principal Wang Hongbo, formulated the activity plan and determined the content of the visiting activities: to understand the family situation of the left-behind students, feedback the situation of students in school to parents, ask for parents’ requirements and suggestions, and publicize school work and education regulations. This visit activity will conduct 100% home visits to the left-behind students, which will be conducted in the form of visits and will be completed within one week. The visit activity includes two parts. The first part is the visit activity attended by all teachers of each grade; The second part is the home visit activity implemented by the head teacher, the main reason is that the head teacher carries out home visit activities for the special families of the left-behind students in this class. According to the actual situation, the left-behind students in each class are paired with the teachers in this class, and they are divided into several visiting groups to go deep into each student’s family. 2. Propaganda and guidance, and reach consensus. On March 3rd, President Wang also emphasized the safety problems of teachers themselves during the visit and explained the safety knowledge and basic etiquette knowledge, emphasize to do a good job of propaganda and explanation with parents in a peaceful mind, and listen carefully to parents’ opinions and suggestions on the school. Home visits are not only to reflect the learning situation of students at school to parents, but we pay more attention to propagandizing the school-running concept and current educational concept to parents, give reasonable suggestions and scientific guidance on the issue of educating children. After the home visit on March 4th, the school held a special meeting, which mainly checked the effect of this home visit. A relatively good effect appeared in the activity, if some parents understand that scolding blindly will only alienate the distance between parents and children, they will change their words and deeds when getting along with children; some parents accept that they should not only focus on their children’s academic performance, but also comprehensively measure and evaluate their children’s opinions. Therefore, they will give more praise and encourage their children to build confidence; some parents understand that children are under great pressure now, and parents should give them understanding and care, so they will not force their children any more and will give them psychological counseling timely; some parents know that parents will arouse their children’s enthusiasm for work and study if they ask more questions and pay more attention, so they will change the previous practice of not asking questions, thus adding another active job to the class, members who are willing to learn. In this way, we keep consistent with our parents in concept and get the same ideas. We have reached a consensus, and naturally we will receive gratifying results in education. 3. Regular supervision and follow-up education. The successful completion of the first phase of home visit does not mean the end of home visit education. We have established a one-on-one assistance mechanism for teachers and students. We will continue to pay home visits, telephone visits and SMS contacts, the forms of network communication and so on do a good job in tracking and tracing students, thus ensuring the long-term effectiveness of home visit education. After this home visit, we made records in time, kept first-hand information, paid attention to observing the effect of home visits, and adjusted educational strategies in time according to students’ responses to ensure the beginning and end of education and let home visits really play their effectiveness. Our home visit indeed made some left-behind students change their mind greatly and have great energy in action after home visit activities. Parents and teachers all made little progress for left-behind students, I feel gratified and happy for my good performance. After this home visit, the political education department of the school regularly checked the teacher’s home visit Records. The records did not lie in how many, but in whether they were true and reliable. Each teacher carefully filled in the record form of home visits, especially the column of talking with parents, which was really affectionate and touching. He also left photos and other materials on the scene and stored them in the file. Each teacher also determines the target of the next home visit according to the actual situation of the students, thus ensuring the planning and continuity of the visit activities in the future. This visit to teachers not only strengthens the communication between teachers, students and their families, but also provides a vivid and in-depth educational opportunity for teachers to cultivate good ethics.
